What makes a game cool? Hmm. Usually, words like zombies, action-packed, strategy, shooting, gore would come into mind. Wahahah. Which was exactly what I thought after playing left4dead for the first time. XD Wahahah!!
The game is basically a shooting game. Reminiscent of counter strike, wahahah. Maximum of four players per faction, you can either take the zombie side, or the human side. The aim of the game is for the humans to make it to a "Safe Room" at the end of every stage, and of course, its the zombies' duty to not let them reach that room. Hahahah! Four stages, and at the final stage, instead of a safe room, the humans will have to defend themselves against hoards of life-leeching, blood hungry zombies while waiting for rescue!! Waaah! And did I mention that they're gonna be running towards you from all directions??? Wahahahah!!! Panic mode!! XD
The humans are equipped with guns and granades, as well as health kits scattered throughout the vicinity. The zombies on the other hand, have no weapons; instead they are equipped with special abilities and are categorized based on them. 5 categories - Boomer, Hunter, Smoker, Tank, Witch. :p Based on what I've seen so far, Boomers are those big chubby zombies that sprays the humans with slimy green stuff that attracts zombie hoards. Hunters are the type who pins down the humans and disables them. Smokers have this long, long tongue thing that wraps around the victim which it uses to drag the person towards him. The tank are big-muscled, war-freak zombies that has a relatively large life and not readily easy to kill. Lastly, the witch is a frail, thin, creepy-looking zombie that only attacks when disturbed. It always targets the one who attacks it so beware. Nyahahah!!
It was actually Rod, Yel, Jojo and TM that introduced me to this game. XD After going to school for a supposed promotion list, we went to Makati and before going home, we dropped by Arena to play Left4dead. Wahahahah!! Fun, super!! Hahahaha! De-stressing. Hahahahah!!!! Especially when you kill those big, fat, chubby zombie persons. Hahahah!! They explode and splash blood all over. Whew. XD And another funny thing was that my teammates always protected me so I got the least damage in the whole game. And I also had the most number of friendly fires owing to my lack of accuracy and random firing. Kawawa naman sakin yung mga kakampi ko. Wahahahah!!! But I was glad that somehow I was able to make up for it by saving/helping my teammates the most number of times. Hahahahah. Funny. XD And because we were four, we were kind of looking out for each other in pairs. Me (renkars) and Rod (the patriot) on one hand, and Yel (yel) and TM (braveheart) on another. Wahahah, ika nga ni Rod, yel and TM had a sort of bromance thing going on in the game since Yel was so intent on not leaving TM behind. Hahahahah. They save each other very often! Hahahahah!! As Rod always saves me. :p Hahahah!! Kulit! XD
So that's about it. Hahahahah. Left4dead, a super enjoy game. Especially when played with super enjoy company. More left4dead!!! ^__^
