3rd shifting detox
Nagdetox ako kahapon after a barrage of never-ending questions from our week long third shifting exams. Whew!!! Grabe, I've never felt so harassed and so tired after shifting exams prior to this one. Wahahah. Harrased talaga eh no? XD But its true!!! Sobrang hirap ng exams. Especially Physio and Biochem. Dang.
Anyhow, I spent Saturday with a very good friend of mine, chong Kenneth. Nagdetox kami kahapon, at super enjoy namin ang Saturday!!! XD
We first went to Galleria, since both of us still haven't been to galle. Ahahahah. Nagmeet kami sa Buendia, which according to chong, is synonymous to Gil Puyat. Hahahaha. Ngayon ko lang nalaman yun!!! XD Wahahah!!!
And then after riding the Ayala bus, we got there and decided to eat first before watching "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans". So we ate at Cafe Mediterranean and I ate Eggplant Parmigiana, which was very very tasty!!! Ang sarap. ^__^ It had lots of mozarella. Yum, hahahah!!!
After that we watched the movie. Hmm, I think the movie was a bit mediocre. Hmm. From my perspective, it could've used more/better special effects. I mean, the plot had a lot of potential, but it was somehow dulled by the lack of detail and intricacies which made me think that maybe, maybe lang ah, the movie was on low budget?? I dunno. I mean the props were good, but hey, the one and a half hour story was almost fully shot at this huge tower, a forest and a "throne room". I mean, c'mon people. Sayang, there were so many things the director/production could've done to improve the movie. Then again, it was alright, I guess. And the fact that everyone was expecting Ms. Beckinsale and didn't see her, at least till the movie was over, was also very dissapointing???? O baka ako lang yun, since I didn't even bother to read the cast. Maybe the producers were relying on Kate's appearances on previous installments to save on advertising and publicity for said movie... Whatever, Hahahah!!
After that, we decided to mall hop and proceeded to Glorietta. Again, we rode the Ayala bus and when we got there, nagdecide kaming mag Timezone. Waaah!!!!!!! Nyahahah!!!! >:)
And then we played this new arcade game "Silent Hill". I am a huge, HUGE fan of the series and when I saw it on Timezone, mehn, was I so very very excited to play the game. Ang ganda!!! Ang galing!!! Waaah!!!! At first the graphics were very simple, and there were a lot of dull moments, wahahahah. Eh kasi naman, sometimes the characters are just talking and walking, no zombie-bashing action for seconds at a time. Hahahah. And then as we played through, ayun, gumanda na din ang plot. And I realized that mali pala ako sa graphics thing, kasi nga arcade game siya so I would be over-the-line optimistic kung gusto kong makakita ng graphics katulad ng sa PS games. Hahahah. Stupid. XD But it was great!!! The kind of game that you'd really want to finish. Plus, the SH trademark of shifting to parallel dimensions were there too! The bosses are not that hard to beat, but the characters take a lot of damage from one swipe. 100 hearts is the maximum health, and you'd only be lucky to encounter a few health drinks along the way. The zombies and creatures are also those familiar "faces" in the SH series. Cool game. Very, very, very. ^__^
After that, we were looking for a place where we can play billiards, but unfortunately, I had to go to Greenhills to meet with my sister. So I figured we can settle our 3-3 score some other time and we were thinking of inviting Yim and Kiwi. Hahahahahah. Yim is chong's classmate and Kiwi is my classmate. Bonding kaming apat. XD
Anyhow, the day was concluded after a bit of shopping at Greenhills, and dinner at Mini Shabu-shabu. Ang bano ko mag-gawa ng sauce. Wahahahah. Anyhow...
It was a great day and I really had a great time with chong. Things are settled now and reaffirmations, confirmations, clarifications are all done. :) Heheheh. Thanks chong, for everything, from before till who knows when, salamat. ^__^ You are one of the best friends I have. :)
And my neurophysio download is finished, and I'm gonna open the zipped folder in a short while and intoxicate myself once more. Mehn, one detox is just never enough!! Waaaah!!!
